His & Her Bathtubs

In December 2003, I visited the Cá d'Zan (House of John) Mansion in Sarasota, Florida. The museum, once was the home of John & Mable Ringling. John is one of the famous Ringling Brothers of the famous Big Top Circus. The circus moved south to Sarasota for the winter, and John and his wife Mable built their fancy winter home overlooking Sarasota Bay. The Ringlings also opened an art museum in 1929 filled with the art acquired from their travels and auctions. Today it is still open to the public not far from their mansion.

On the tour I took of Cá d'Zan, I had the delight on seeing both John and Mable's personal bathtubs. And even better, the store at the end of the tour sold postcards of each bathroom. Click on John or Mable below to view their bathtubs.
