Bathtub Art Fair- One Day Only!!Games & Amusements for EveryoneStop by The Know (NE 20th & Alberta) during the Alberta Street Fair this Saturday, September 13th from Noon to 5 pm for the Bathtub Art Fair!
The fair is a mini carnival in celebration of the bathtub, and there is fun and activities to be enjoyed by everyone. Make Bathtub Art! Free art activities sponsored in part by SCRAP (School & Community Re-use Action Project). Play games and win prizes! Fun games and prizes (25 cents to $1 sliding scale/proceeds go towards Bathtub Art Museum). Blow Bubbles! Fun bubble making activities. See the Bathtub Art Show! Alberta Street artists' paintings & prints show, The shower curtain of international bathtub postcard art and historic 100+ years old tub, and the museum's postcard exhibit. Watch Canadian Bathtub Racing! We will be showing video clips from the International World Championship Bathtub Races held in Nanaimo, Canada. (the tape was graciously given to me by the Loyal Nanaimo Bathtub Society's Commodore, Bill Maguire). Learn about the Bathtub Art Museum! The Bathtub Art Museum will have a table set up with Museum info, artifacts, and the curator available to answer all questions. Buy cool Bathtub Art Museum souvenirs! The museum store will be selling Magnets, Postcards, and the Hand-printed Flyer for the show with proceeds going towards the museum.
