Carye Bye lives in Portland, Oregon (U.S.A.) She is originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, but she has also lived in Georgia, San Francisco, and Ireland. Carye has a B.A. from Augsburg College in Art History and Studio Art
Active in the art scene in Portland, Carye runs a small art press specializing in letterpress printing and wood-cut illustrations called Red Bat Press.
