BATHTUB CAKE BAKE-OFF CONTEST
Let's celebrate the Bathtub Art Museum's 3rd Birthday with Cake! This contest is inspired by the recent June 2006 Women's Day magazine how-to bathtub cake feature that was sent in by Christine Dorthea-Maris. All you have to do is dream up your own Bathtub Cake, bake & decorate and lastly, send in a photograph by the due date.
THE DETAILS
1. Deadline: All entries must be received by August 23rd, 2006
2. Any cake will do - bought or homemade. Decorations can be edible or not.
3. Send in 1-2 good photograph to P.O. Box 6662, Portland, Ore. 97228 or email a 300 dpi photograph to bathtublady@gmail.com
4. Also send in the following info with your photo(s): Name/title of your cake masterpiece, your name, contact info, list of ingredients/decorations, and a brief paragraph about your cake, or the process of making it.
5. Relatives & friends encouraged to participate
6. All participates will receive a special thank-you prize & museum fame
7. The cakes will be put on display starting August 28th, 2006 (BAM's 3rd Birthday). Visitors to the museum will vote on their favorite cake until Sept 28th, 2006
8. In October the audience favorite & the Bathtub Art Museum "Most Creative" award will be announced
9. Optional: Throw a Bathtub Party and eat your cake! Or if you live in Portland, invite the Bathtub Art Museum to your party.
